ARTIST BIO
Two things I love in life are the Southwest and dogs!

Artist Statement
Being in nature - breathing and experiencing natural energy that exists and impacts our physical and spiritual selves is what I strive to capture through creation of my art. Bringing the power and natural energy of the three-dimensional natural world to a two-dimensional surface is a journey of discovering the depth and balance of color, line, shape, and space that can impact the viewer’s emotion in a meaningful way.
Bringing out my inner child through creating landscape, charcoal drawing, oil, and watercolor paintings provides energy similar to physically being at the natural site itself.

New Mexico
I lived and studied art in the southwest for four years and dreamt of the place even since. Many of my art inspirations are influenced by the southwest.

Abstract Art
I felt in love with making abstract artworks. It all begun in astronomy class when I learned about physics. I made art with the wave-lengths transitioning into red hue paintings.

Interior Design
I have always had a special interest of the interior space and how the environment creates the emotions of energy.

Art Education
Always a life long learning endeavor, life feels more fulfilling when teaching art to students. I taught K-12 art and am currently an adjunct higher education instructor.
